Organizing Desk Top

With mouse POINTER on CLEAR SPOT on the desktop and CLICK with the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON produces a popup menu. A CLICK on NEW again on FOLDER. Created a NEW FOLDER. As soon as the new folder appeared I typed in the name. The name in this case will be GAMES. I will create some shortcuts and place them in the folder.

Just as we did on making the folder A CLICK on NEW and another on SHORTCUT, we get the meun below

I knew what the path was for the game I want a shortcut to. As you can see in the graphic. I could have used BROWSE which would have opened up an explorer type program to help me find the EXE file for the game.

I name my ICON SOL.EXE. A CLICK on NEXT another on FINISH the NEW SHORTCUT for my game appeared. All that is left to do is click on the new ICON with the mouse button holding it down and draging the ICON to the top of the GAMES FOLDER and release the button. The shortcut is now stored in that folder.
