Saving Pictures and Songs
Often times when you’re on the Internet you find pictures and songs you would like to have a copy of or you might like to send it via e-mail to someone. Here is a little tutorial showing you just how to do that.
I found this picture of a dog on the web and decided I wanted it.
I placed my mouse pointer on the picture clicked with the right mouse button and got the menu on the left. Another click on SAVE PICTURE AS and I get a menu shown below asking me where I want to save it. I have made a file folder in advance on my hard drive called 1a2b3c. I saved the picture in that folder. The program opens to that folder. If it didn’t I would click on the down arrow point and then on the C drive and again a click on that folder. The only thing left to do is give the picture a name.
With the above menu I have the options of sending the picture as an e-mail or making it the background on my desktop so each time I turn on my computer the picture would be displayed.
Saving songs to your computer.
I was out on the World Wide Web one day when I ran across this great web site which had just tons of downloadable music. So loving old songs I downloaded some of my favorite artist’s tunes. This is a lot like getting pictures off of the web.
Notice the graphic above Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered is in red. I had double clicked on that to listen to the song. I liked it enough to download to my computer. A right mouse click gave me the menu on the left. I will click on SAVE TARGET AS which will open a program for me to save the target on my computer. As you can see on the graphic below.
As you can see by the graphic below I have the song in my 1a2b3c folder. A double click on it and it will open in windows media player
