OUTLOOK EXPRESS FORMAT
Change the looks of your e-mail.
Notice on the graphic below that it starts out on top with NEW MESSAGE over on the Left side. Below that is the word line. On that line is the word
FORMAT
That is the area this webpage is being built for.
With a click on FORMAT I get these areas I can add or change things in my Outlook Express program.
RICH TEXT (html) must be used to chnage items in FORMAT.
Where we have an arrow point showing on the right side is an indication of additional areas that can be changed. Such as BACKGROUND show in the graphic below. We can add
PICTURE, COLOR or SOUND.
I clicked on the BACKGROUND PICTURE gave me a choice of where to look
In my computer for the picture I want to paste into new e-mail message I am Working on. In this case I am using the default which opens into Stationary folder and I have decided to use CLEAR DAY. Another click with the left mouse button you can see the picture is showing in blue over on the right side of the graphic below.
Or
I could
have chosen
to select
a color
instead
of a
picture.
I want to add sound to this e-mail. A click on SOUND and the background sound menu appears. Again a click on BROWSE let's me look in my computer for the file that I want to become background music.
I only want the song to play one time.
I know the song is Welcome to my World by Jim Reeves in a folder I have created called 1234.
Before sending your e-mail to all your friends. Send a copy to your self. You can check everything out to see how it looks when it is received at the other end. However sometimes if you would then forward the copy you sent yourself the pictures may not be picked up on the second sending.
