MSN MESSENGER

MSN Messenger is a communication program which lets you do several things. You can use the keyboard, to type messages to friends and Family or you can use voice. With the keyboard you can have several People taking part in the conversation at the same time. But with voice it is one on one. Also files and photos can be sent from here to there. The big thing about MSN Messenger is it is free.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD MSN MESSENGER. From here on follow the direction on the screen at msn.com to complete Downloading and installation. When the Icon below shows on your desktop Or taskbar the installation is complete.

This type of icon will appear on your desktop or on the taskbar.

MSN Messenger has been installed and I am online.

A Click on Contact and I can add a contact so I will have friend to chat with when they are on line.

I have chosen to find my contact by E-Mail.

I have typed the E-Mail address in the slot a click on next and as you can see by the graphic below I ran into a snag.

I have typed a message to my friend a click on finish and the message is sent.

With IM (instant messenger) we have the same words at the top of the
program FILE, ACTION, TOOL and HELP. Which produce popup menus when those words are clicked on. Below these words show that I am on line (Dond) then I have a list of family Members that have this program
followed by a listing of 12 friends of which 3 are shown in green as
being on line.

A double click on my friend Donna and I get a message box where I can
type my message and read what my friends post.

The graphic above shows that I am in fact carrying on a conversation with Donna. Notice also on the top right of the graphic I have other options I can ask for voice which I have done in the graphic below or I can invite other of my friends or family into the conversation and have several people typing and reading. Or I could send some one e-mail or get into other programs such as net meeting and have a group conversation with voice and also use cams so we could see one another while we type or talk.

I have asked Donna for a voice conversation. Notice that I have
slide controls to increase or decrease volumn on the mic or speakers
