INSERT

A click on the word INSERT in your e-mail that you’re sending will let you do a lot of different things. For example you can insert an ATTACHMENT, TEXT FILE, PICTURE FILE, HORIZONTAL LINE, SIGNATURE, HYPERLINK and a BUSINESS CARD. All the insert items must be setup in your computer in advance before INSET will take affect.

On the left we have a picture of a new e-mail I am setting up and I have clicked on the word INSERT. You can see all the options I have. Notice that the business card did not come up in dark print. The reason for this is I do not have a business card setup.

However there is an ICON on the ICON line that will let me send an ATTACHMENT. With a click on attachment I got the menu that will let me find the attachment I want to send. I can have the attachment in MY DOCUMENT FOLDER or I may have to go to another file folder to find the items I want to insert.

The graphic above shows that I do have an attachment that I found and have set it up to be sent. "There's a hole in the bucket" a mp3 tune by Harry Belafonte.

I found a TEXT FILE called DOWNLOADING in Class Folder that I want to send A click with the left mouse button on the files name to highlight it and another click on OPEN and the file is place in my E-Mail.

Time to INSERT a PICTURE in my E-Mail. A click on the menu on the word picture and the menu show as pictured below

A click on the word BROWSE gave me the normal menu to go and find the picture I want to INSERT. This time it is in MY DOCUMENT FOLDER and it is called DOND3. Click on the file and then on OPEN and the picture is place in my E-Mail.

A click on HYPERLINK gives you the menu box below and you have to add the website by hand I find it easier to copy and paste it into my e-mail.
