SUBJECT: Memorial Scholarships to be Presented

Greater Peoria AMVET Post #64 and Ladies Auxiliary will award scholarships with a value of $1,500.00, $1,000.00, $750.00, or $500.00 to the son or daughter of a member of Post #64 or Ladies Auxiliary #64, the son or daughter of a deceased member of Post #64 or Ladies Auxiliary #64 who had been a member in good standing at the time of his/her death, a member of Post #64 or Ladies Auxiliary #64, a grandchild of a member of Post #64 or Ladies Auxiliary #64, or the grandchild of a deceased member of Post #64 or Ladies Auxiliary #64 who had been a member in good standing at the time of his/her death.

The recipient of this Memorial Scholarship may attend a technical school, business school, business college, two-year college, junior college, or university of his/her choice. 

A check will be paid toward one current year's tuition to the school, and previous recipients of this award will be eligible to apply in future years. Applicants may be in the first, second, third, fourth, or any advanced year of training.

Applicants will be judged on academic record, academic awards, activities while in school, financial need, and aims and goals of the applicant.
