| The mission of Peoria Area Homeschoolers is to enhance the
home education experience for homeschoolers of all backgrounds in the Peoria
area.
PAH provides an an opportunity for members to provide support,
playdates, field trips, and networking opportunities to each other. In the
past, members have organized support meetings for parents, playdates, field
trips, World Tour Days (where families studied a country and made
presentations for a group), history fair, librarian appreciation lunches,
family picnics and other social and learning opporunities. There is an
associated Yahoo message board intended to be a clearinghouse of information
for homeschoolers, or families who are thinking about homeschooling, in the
Peoria Illinois area.
