About Sharon Weiss

All my life I have enjoyed reading, learning, discovering new worlds of knowlege. My favorite book is the Bible. In the past twenty years of my Christian life, I have kept a journal of the special times of Bible study and closeness I have had with the Lord. This journal is the basis of my book, LETTERS TO MY CHILDREN: THE FAITHFULNESS OF JESUS TO AN ORDINARY WOMAN.

About Sharon's Book

My book is really a series of articles written on specific topics. Some of the topics are "Let's Talk about Jesus," "Laughing with the Lord," and "In My Father's Footsteps." The articles are all biblically based, but contain autobiographical material as well.

This is an excerpt from the article "Let the Children Come:"
"There is nothing so sweet or more exciting than to see a child come to the Lord. When my children were young and even in their early adulthood, I taught Sunday School classes for several years. Actually, I have lost count of how many children I have lead to the Lord. The numbers are not important; each child is important."

"I remember their faces as I put the felt pieces on the flannel board...eager, bright, open eyes, drinking in the Word. Each Bible story brought them closer to the Lord."

"One class of sixth grade girls I taught began to expand and expand. The girls brought their younger brothers and sisters. As I prayed, the Lord blessed."

Sharon & Amigo

Amigo is my “dream come true” Arabian gelding. He is trained for western pleasure and in 2003 won Grand Champion, Western Pleasure Open, at a class “A” horse show in Springfield. Amigo is truly my friend as his name implies.
