Computer Class at RiverWest Library

We talk about the books. It's fun to be around the adult learners who read the same books. Dr. Nancy explains the stories and tells us about the authors. We love the fruit and ice cream and other refreshments we get after the book club. Sometimes we have a story teller who acts out the book.

Maryanna's Book Review of LOVE YOU FOREVER by Robert Munseh

This book is about parents bringing home their baby son. The Mother rocked the baby every night and sang, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be." The baby became mischievous as he grew; but with each stage of his life, his mother continued to watch him and sing this song. Even after he was grown and left home, the mother would drive across town to his house and sing this song. When the mother became old and sick, her son rocked her in his arms and sang the song. Then, the son had a daughter and he sang the song to her.

I really liked this book because of the continuing love of the family. My son, David, memorized this book.

My Son David

My son David is a 10 year old who has blonde hair, blue eyes, and freckles. David enjoys swimming, being on computer playing games, loves to read, and likes to play basketball. My son David is going into 5th grade at Lincoln School. David and his mother lost his grandmother a year ago to Leukemia. David was very close to his grandparents and we miss her very much.
