Flag Over Capitol
- Flag over capitol - perforated stamp. On the left is a normal stamp and next to it a horizontal misperf. The stamps on the right have a dramatic ink smear.
- Flag over Capitol coil stamps. The stamps on the left are errors with the Capitol in blue, rather than black. The center shifted, imperf. strip shows the full registration marks at the top. The stamps on the right are missing the peak of the dome.
Flag Over Supreme Court
- Flag over Supreme Court stamps. The pair on the left has partial black stripes on flags, the next stamp has the building almost missing, the third stamp has the blue of the flag faintly printed and the pair on the far right has the wrong color building. It is frequently described as "brick red" in color.
- Left block has an ink smear on the two right stamps. The block on the right is imperforate.
- Flag over Supreme Court coils. The left pair is imperf., the next pair is imperf and miscut and the two pair on the right are misperfed.
- Diagonal shift of perforations.
Flag Over White House (blue)
- Flag over blue White House coils. The left pair is imperforate and the next strip has a dramatic ink smear in the flag., The next two strips to the right are misperfs. The last pair on the right is an error with the White House a gray-blue.
Flag Over Yosemite
- The pair on left is misperfed and the pair next to it has part of the flag missing on the right side of the stamp. The third pair shows part of the registration markings at the top of the stamp. The pair on the far right is imperforate.
Flag Over Mount Rushmore
- The two examples on the left were the issued designs. The one on the left was produced by photogravure and the one next to it by engraving. The imperforate pair was an engraving. The pair on the right is referred to as a "Toledo Brown", due to the unusual color of the brown.
Flag Over Independence Hall
- The three pairs on the left are coil pairs of the "Flag over Independence Hall. The first pair is misperfed, the second imperf. and the third, another misperf. The vertical pair is from the sheet of stamps and has ink smears on the left.
Flag Over Porch
- The left pair is imperforated and to the right of it is the reproduction stamps that were sold by WalMart with the little wooden mailboxes. When these were sold the stores sold out of them immediately in most instances and many were offered on eBay. Notice that there is no value nor any writing on them. They are not errors and were not issued by the Post Office.
