25p Envelope Errors and Varieties
These envelopes are the smaller die and the value ovals contain a "P" under the "25".
- Envelope on the left has a double impression of the stamp image. The second partial one is fainter and on the flap. The envelope to the right only has the stamp image on the flap.
- Two envelopes with double stamp impressions of which one is only a partial.
- Envelope on the left has a faint double impression and the one on the right a partial double impression.
- Both envelopes have double impressions of which the second one is almost totally albino.
- Two envelopes with partial impressions.
- Two envelopes with partial impressions.
- Both envelopoes have misplaced stamp images.
- Left envelope has an albino impression of the stamp image shifted upwards. The rest of the albino image is on the back flap. The envelope on the right has an albino stamp impression on the back. The front has the purple stamp image as it should be, in the proper place.
- The left envelope has a partial stamp impression on the back and numerous paper creases. The front is normal and has the proper purple stamp impression. The envelope on the right is the result of paper creases.
- Two envelopes showing underinking and ink that is too wet.
The following images are of the larger die and the value ovals only contain a "25".
- The left envelope has a double stamp image, of which the lower image is partial albino. The right envelope has a partially printed image.
- The left envelope has a misplaced albino impression of the stamp image. The image continues onto the back flap. The envelope on the right is an albino impression with a purple offset inside the envelope.
- Two envelopes with the left having a misplaced stamp image and the right being a used copy with overinking on most of the image and the upper left area having received no ink.
